For those of you who have worked with us in the past, it will come as no surprise that Kokopelli considers itself a service-oriented company. Our goal is to have what you need when you need it so you can keep moving. Our educated and dedicated staff is here for you to help you solve problems and create opportunities.
Delivery Services
FREE PLANT DELIVERY* on orders totaling $1,250 or more within the KC Metro and Lawrence area.
- This area includes Leavenworth, Liberty, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, and all of Johnson County, KS. Program is subject to market conditions and fuel prices.
- Orders totaling less than $1,250 within the Kansas City Metro and Lawrence area will be charged the standard delivery fee of $75.
- All hardgoods deliveries within the Kansas City Metro and Lawrence area will be charged a delivery fee of $75.
- Deliveries outside of the metropolitan area begin at $125 for Topeka, St. Joseph, and Ottawa. Please call for rates and schedule for deliveries outside the listed areas.
*Customers receiving special discounts are subject to standard delivery rates regardless of order total. Adequate unloading help and equipment suitable for handling nursery stock must be provided for all deliveries.

Other Services
Placement Service
Our standard delivery involves curbside drop-off. Placement service is available if you need assistance moving the trees and plants to a particular spot.
Loader Service
Some trees can have root balls that weigh up to 2200 lbs. That is typically too much for a crew (or even a small skid loader) to handle. We can provide loader service to help get the tree off the truck and move it to the right spot.
Tree Spading
Instant Shade Inc. has been moving trees in the Kansas City area for over 30 years. Our 90" tree spades are capable of moving trees with up to 10" trunks and evergreens up to 18' tall. (See

Supplementary Labor
